BIOGRAPHY

Jaco van Gass is a male model, speaker and cyclist who is a left arm amputee. He lost his left arm whilst serving in the Parachute Regiment in Afghanistan. He also sustained many other injuries including the loss of muscle from his left upper thigh and blast wounds.

Jaco has been modelling and working with brands such as Pas Normal Studios, Jacamo, Sports Direct and more. He has also been a professional Para-Cyclist for 12 years, riding for the Great British team and is an 11 x World Champion and 4 x Paralympic Champion in Track Cycling.

He has summited multiple mountains and continues to take on challenges including the Cape Epic, Swiss Epic and many more endurance cycling event.

Jaco is a father and a family man. He loves to travel in his free time and cycle all over the world. He is a well established speaker including speaking at a large number of companies such as Barclays, HSBC, KMPG and many more. He shares his story across the globe and is very passionate about inspiring others to live a very fulfilled life despite disability and show that you can go beyond injury.
