Godwin has Down Syndrome. He is an actor based in London. His highlights include: playing the lead ‘Dusty’ in the short film Dusty Do Good (Rooster Rex Productions, 2025), This was selected for the LA Shorts Festival, Los Angeles, 2023; and won a number of awards including: Best Performance, The Short Cinema, Leicester International Film Festival, 2024 He also works with Graeae theatre and has performed on stage as part of the National Theatre Festival, NT Connections.
Performance for Godwin is more than just acting – he has performed with Drag Syndrome – a drag troupe of performers with Down Syndrome, across Britain and Europe. It is important to him that his work as a performer is recognised as having the same merit and artistic quality as those performers who do not have a learning disability.
He is also a keen footballer and passionate about dance.
