Rose is a nine-year-old girl with a visual impairment caused by Stargardt disease. While this condition affects her central vision, she remains highly active in her daily life at home, school and local community.

Rose has grown up around professional photography through family shoots and is comfortable on stage having performed in numerous ballet, tap, and modern dance shows.

She is also a committed fundraiser for the sight loss community; she recently completed a month-long marathon challenge to raise several thousand pounds for Retina UK, and initiated the ‘Wear Stars for Stargardts’ fundraiser at her gymnastics club.

Rose has ambitions to become a genetic scientist. She also enjoys gymnastics, listening to audiobooks, learning more about history and going to the theatre.
