Mason Casey (he/him)
Mason Casey is an 11-year-old with a vibrant personality and a natural confidence that shines wherever he goes. Born at 24.4 weeks, Mason is severely deaf and partially sighted. He wears hearing aids and glasses and navigates the world in his own unique way. Mason is also unable to read or write, so he learns visually watching, observing and predicting which has helped him develop incredible awareness and problem-solving skills.
Mason has recently begun exploring opportunities in modelling and media. He was selected by a deaf charity to take part in McDonald’s Fun Football, where he played football with Virgil van Dijk and appeared as a sign-language commentator for an upcoming advert.
With his striking ginger hair, long lashes and chiselled features, Mason naturally stands out and proudly represents multiple layers of diversity and inclusion.
Outside of this, Mason is a passionate gamer who has taught himself through observation. His ambition is to inspire others and show that disabilities and differences should never limit what someone can achieve.
