Harvey Hind - him/he.
Harvey Hind is a deaf/blind child. He was born this way due to multiple eye conditions and ear malfunctions. Harvey was fitted with bilateral cochlea implants at age two and is learning to walk with a cane. Harvey is delayed in some developmental areas but is otherwise developing like any other little boy.
Harvey works with the global charity 'SENSE' media team (charity for deaf/blindness and complex disabilities) with him being the face of their 2025 xmas appeal. Harvey's biggest achievements are a report aired on 'ITV Granada reports' around SEND children and also a report for BBC news, where both reporters spent majority of the day with a camera crew with Harvey. Harvey has dates for 2026 to create some short films for SENSE to use on their media platforms.
Harvey has been an amazing advocate for all disabled children, working with his family and professionals to help raise awareness around disabilities. Not just physical awareness but also showing the world the reality of what it is really like growing up with challenges within society.
