Zoe Steinberg is a non-binary, queer artist, activist, and model with a limb difference based in Brooklyn NY. Their highlights include working with Planned Parenthood, Ulta, and Sephora.In 2022 Zoe earned their BFA in Printmaking at Tyler School of Art and Architecture. Zoe’s art work centers their lived experience as a queer person with disabilities. Zoe works with texture, sound, and text to engage audiences in the embodied realities of navigating spaces with physical disabilities. Their practice aims to challenge conventional perceptions and invite viewers into a space of discomfort and reflection, disrupting what is assumed to be.
Zoe is comfortable and has experience working in studios and professional sets, video and still image.
Currently Zoe serves as a consultant with the Tyler; Access in Art and Design group at Temple University, built up of faculty and staff that are creating a more accessible school environment for students with disabilities.
