BIOGRAPHY
Mikailah (she/her) is a New York–based model, pediatric critical care nurse, and Doctor of Nursing Practice student. With experience across commercial and editorial sets, studios, and published campaigns, she brings an authentic, confident, and collaborative presence to every project.
Her recent modeling work includes campaigns for Thursday Boot Company, serving as the Summer Cover Girl for D'Agenaro Restaurant through MKTCNTRL, and being featured in the July 2026 issue of ROOSA Magazine. She enjoys collaborating with photographers, brands, and creative teams to bring thoughtful and authentic stories to life.
Living with Type 1 diabetes and wearing an insulin pump and continuous glucose monitor (CGM), Mikailah is passionate about increasing authentic representation of visible medical devices and invisible disabilities in fashion, advertising, and media. Her experience navigating a chronic condition has shaped her resilience, adaptability, and confidence, while reinforcing her belief that medical devices and disabilities should not limit how people see themselves or the opportunities they pursue.
Mikailah is passionate about healthcare, disability representation, wellness, and creating greater visibility for people living with chronic conditions. Outside of modeling, she enjoys traveling, hiking, finding new coffee spots, attending concerts, reading, and exploring new places. She loves creating meaningful connections and bringing a sense of authenticity and individuality to every project.
