Bella McHugh is a model and entertainer with Down Syndrome.
Bella participated in an online campaign for Nature Valley Granola, performed with the Moscow Ballet’s Great Russian Nutcracker (Mouse, Snow Maiden), and was focused in the ballet documentary, Free 2 Be Me. Bella has appeared in print ads for Shoe Sensations, Justice Clothing and McGraw Hill, walked in local fashion shows and participated in stage productions of Godspell and Annie Jr. Someday, she would like to walk in a New York or Paris fashion show and perform on Broadway to represent people with different abilities in fashion and the Arts.
At two years old, Bella pointed at the tv, and said, “Bella do that!” She’s been at it ever since. Bella’s passions include musical theater, singing, dancing, travel and surfing. She attends surf events a few times a year with an organization called A Walk on Water.
