Anissa is a former track athlete of Arab-German ancestry whose work has spanned figure

modelling, acting for screen and stage productions, and runway.

She is passionate about building a brighter future; as an honours graduate of biology and alumna of the University of California's microbiology division, she has studied conservation and sustainability and dreams of using microbes to rid the environment of pollution.

She is also an LGBTQ+ and women's rights advocate, being a woman in a gender nonconforming relationship who defines her bilateral mastectomy as part of her feminine identity. She hopes to become a representative empowering those who have undergone top surgeries. 

She loves painting, horseback riding, and travelling.
