Stefanie is based in Vermont. She was injured while on vacation in the Caribbean, by a tour boat explosion that caused bilateral leg amputations and incomplete paraplegia due to a low level spinal cord injury. She loves living a healthy lifestyle and taking care of herself through a healthy diet, and cooking creative meals for herself and her family. She also thoroughly enjoys exercise of any kind, and has gotten involved in sports of biking and cross-country skiing. She also loves to give back, through volunteer work with the American Red Cross and promoting local events, which goes hand-in-hand with her work as a public, motivational speaker.
