BIOGRAPHY
Michelle is a huge fan of the great outdoors and is always up for trying new things. Some of her absolute favorite activities include biking, skateboarding, and camping. Michelle's disability is not something she was born with; she acquired it during her battle with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma and Amyloidosis. The latter condition damaged her peroneal nerve, leaving her with limited mobility in her left foot. Even though she can't enjoy some of her favorite activities in the same way, Michelle is determined to find new ways to do them. She hopes that by sharing her story, she can inspire others who have had to adjust to a new version of themselves after mourning their "old" selves.
