Ashley Francis was born with Charcot Marie Tooth to parents that suffered from physical disabilities themselves. Her late mother, who also suffered Charcot Marie Tooth taught Ashley to never let her difference get in the way of living life to fullest. There were many times, she questioned herself because of different barriers. Many times, Ashley overcame those doubts. While attending high school didn’t get to experience things you’re supposed to remember such as prom, senior trip and etc due to her disability. Fast forward, Ashley was able to graduate with honors after receiving Bachelors Degree from John Jay College of Criminal justice. She enjoys as independence as she was able to drive a vehicle with modifications. Also, Ashley enjoys traveling whether it’s a long bus/train ride or even a plane. She is an avid New York Knicks.
