Sidorela was born with CP and had blood transfusions when she was young to survive. She mostly use her roll aider and motorized wheelchair to get around. She has her BA in English and in Media Studies from CUNY Queens college. She was a part of open style lab and ft on a documentary design for all on Hulu.
Sidorela was also born with a learning disability and she wants to change the narrative around it and instead, celebrate it for everyone that also shares having a learning disability!
She feels it’s important for little kids who have CP and other types of disabilities see to themselves being represented in mainstream media. Sidorela is based in New York City.
