Bryan is no longer able to walk as a result of myriad athletic activities. He used to do running, swimming, bicycle, triathlon events, and equestrian sports. Falling off horses jumping over fences is not good for you. Now, his activities are largely academic and musical. The academic activities most notably have been with Yale University Press and University of Florida Press helping with editions of Marcel Proust (7 volumes and 1.75 million words) and medieval Provencal lyric poetry (the original rock and roll). The musical activities are confined to flute alone performances of Bach, Piazzolla, and Casterede for private parties, receptions, and art shows. Bryan has had instruction in 16 instruments, including voice and direction. A few of which he plays rather well. He has worked at Merrill Lynch as a broker and sometime manager (at their request) for 47 years. His goal at GBD is to set a good example and represent the agency well as he did when he did photographic modelling many decades ago.
