Seth is 20 years old and has moderate Autism with Auditory Processing Disorder. Seth has worked extremely hard over his life to overcome the struggles associated with the disorder from paralyzing social anxiety, to repetitive self-stimulating behaviors, to being non-verbal; Seth with the help of family, friends, medical professionals, and Behavioral Therapists has come a long way in achieving milestones many take for granted. Seth recently graduated from High School and is currently enjoying a greater amount of independence due to having a part-time Assistant who takes Seth out into the community to volunteer at local non-profit organizations serving people with disabilities enhancing his own life skills while at the same time giving back to the community that has always included and embraced his differences. Seth enjoys Neko Kai karate, swimming, surfing, working out, playing the guitar, attending horror themed conventions, bowling, art/ceramic classes, and traveling.
