Amelia (she/her) is a confident and creative young talent who is proudly deaf, wears bilateral cochlear implants, and is neurodivergent. A published author and illustrator, she is an aspiring model and actor who enjoys performing, collaborating, and bringing stories to life. Amelia has experience speaking at schools, using her voice to raise awareness about hearing loss and neurodiversity.
She was honored with the 2026 Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) Yes I Can Award for Arts, recognizing her creativity and advocacy. Amelia loves music, drawing, storytelling, and crafts, and thrives on connecting with others through her joyful spirit and uplifting conversations. Her ambition is to increase representation in media for deaf individuals—especially those with cochlear implants—while inspiring and encouraging others to embrace their abilities and authentic selves.
