Brandon, after suffering a seizure while driving woke up in the hospital 2 weeks later not knowing what had happened. After 5 long months in 3 different hospitals he was released and began his new life. Becoming a duel, above the knee (AK) amputee, along with suffering a TBI, a fused left arm and right wrist, a new chapter full of challenges and journeys began.
Recovery took him a year and a half before he could be fitted for prosthetics to hopefully have a chance to walk again. Fighting through all the challenges he faced and still faces in living, hope from the medical fields and loved ones fueled his heart to not give up.
After being a part of a ballet company for 8 years performing on and behind the scenes. Playing in bands and being part of the art scene in his city, his passion still grows reaching out to other amputees and students talking about his disabilities and how to flourish in dark times.
Walking again and contributing to the arts and community is his proud achievement and daily goal. Still enjoying family and shooting for the stars.
