BIOGRAPHY

Joining the groundbreaking series, Sex Education, in its last season, Felix Mufti starred as Roman, a young trans man at Cavendish Sixth Form and one half of the school’s it-couple with Abbi (Anthony Lexa). Alongside actors such as Ncuti Gatwa, Asa Butterfield, Gillian Anderson, among many others.

He is also a lecturer and workshop facilitator for companies, charities and community groups; Providing expert insight into how allowing Queerness to flourish can positively influence industries, community and society.

Felix co-founded Transcend Theatre where he writes and performs in authentic, usually unexplored stories of trans experience. Their ACE funded debut, How to Kill a Rose, was rated 4/5 stars by North West End. His following project ‘Be Gay, Do Crime’. blew the roof off the Shakespeare North Playhouse.

Mufti is also a passionate UK Drag and Cabaret performer, having a family with the ‘EAT ME’ Collective in Liverpool.

Felix’s professional credits include: Sex Education (Netflix); When All Is Said (Fuel) and Transpose: Joy (Barbican).
