BIOGRAPHY

Sharon has always worked in advertising, marketing and PR and, at 68, she still does. She also works with a design agency on branding, but her real love is writing, and she writes articles about living you best life as you age. It was because of an article she wrote for Sunday Times Style (about going grey) that she landed her first modelling gig! (She’s also written two non-fiction books: ‘It could have been you’ and ‘Even the eyebrows?’.)
Sharon has been modelling and acting for nine years now and, for the past three has been appearing regularly on ITV’s Lorraine, where she models the latest affordable fashion. She loves the variety of working with her own clients and working in front of the camera. Strange but true, Sharon’s first job was for mega ad agency Ogilvy; she spent ten years there and still pinches herself when she’s in front of the camera, rather than behind it.
In 2004 and again in 2009 Sharon was diagnosed with breast cancer. On both occasions she had to have the tumour removed and received chemotherapy and radio therapy. As she’s a half-glass full girl, she believes losing her hair through chemo helped her become a model; you see she decided, second time around not to dye her hair and her grey hair really is her crowning glory.
When she’s not working, she loves family time and is very close to her three kids, who all live and work in London. But she sees them all the time, as she’s in London most weeks for work.
