Hi! I’m Adel and I am 27 years old. I am deaf and have FASD. I am a passionate advocate for disability visibility and tutor British Sign Language and deaf awareness online. I am a professional musician (harpist and singer) and grew up performing at prestigious events and venues across the UK. I achieved Grade 8 Distinction in Harp and a Diploma with Merit in Classical Singing. I am an Associate of the Royal Schools of Music. Growing up, I fell in love with art, music, sports and charity work, for which I achieved more than 50 awards, including the Duke of Gloucester Award for Innovative Volunteering and funding for community projects from O2. I adore spending time outdoors and keeping fit. Some of my favourite activities include competing as an ice dancer, sailing, SUP, ballroom and Latin dancing, open water diving, swimming, and horse riding. 

I am also multilingual and speak English, Spanish, British Sign Language, and Russian.
