Fleur has a stoma (ostomy bag) which she had put in place 4 years ago after an acute episode of Ulcerative Colitis, a form of IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease). Fleur’s stoma has improved her quality of life. It has allowed her to start a modelling career and she now loves to travel and explore new countries whilst also studying Politics at University.
Fleur aims to raise awareness of IBD and help others living with a stoma. In her journey of doing this so far, she has mentored patients in the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children, which has helped individuals accept their stomas. She wants to empower others to embrace their differences and live their life to the fullest.
