Ornette is a rower who has competed in The Great River Race of 21.6 miles five times and has Rowed to France. He is a member of The Greenwich Yacht Club rowing Team. Ornette is a trained cycle instructor having taught in South London Schools and has completed the Prudential 100 mile road race and the Dunwich Dynamo 112 mile overnight race. Both races completed in his 60’s. Beekeeping is also a passion of Ornette’s, he is a member of Bromley Beekeepers Association and sells his honey in London Cafes. Ornette is a graduate of The National Film and Television School as a sound engineer, has worked in theatre, taken courses in trapeze, mime and has driven a London double decker bus.
