Sam had a motorbike accident in 2013 that resulted in him needing to be airlifted to the hospital and his left leg being amputated below the knee. Sam is very much an adrenaline junkie! He loves his extreme sports. Sam goes snowboarding regularly and has recently taken up wakeboarding. He loves to push his limits and will not let his disability stop him trying anything, in fact it spurs him on! Sam is very passionate about inclusivity and showing that disabled people can break barriers and still participate in activities they love.
