Katie a model from Derry in Northern Ireland who lives with Crohn’s disease, a chronic inflammatory bowel disease that significantly impacts daily life. At 21, she underwent multiple surgeries and now has a permanent stoma. Katie works part-time as a cardiac nurse, demonstrating compassion and dedication within healthcare. 

Alongside her nursing career, she is a strong advocate for the IBD community, fundraising for charities such as Crohn’s and Colitis UK. Her ambition is to use her experience to educate others and normalise conversations around chronic illness and ostomy life. She aims to help others with this condition feel positive and have confidence in their bodies. Outside of all this, she enjoys animal care, spending time reading and travelling which her stoma now allows her to do.
