Karla Victoria Maiden-Vazquez (She/He/They) is a genderfluid queer actor, singer, and model currently based in Europe. A BFA Musical Theatre graduate from the University of Tampa, Karla brings over 20 years of performing arts expertise to the stage and screen. Notable credits include appearances on NBC’s Law & Order and Netflix’s Survival of the Thickest, alongside standout stage roles such as Lorrell in Dreamgirls, Ronette in Little Shop of Horrors, and Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
Beyond performing, Karla is an Erasmus Mundus scholar pursuing a Master’s in Service Design Strategies and Innovation across Latvia, Estonia, and Finland. Dedicated to fostering diversity and inclusion, Karla strives to be a role model for those who feel "different," proving that uniqueness is a profound strength. Off-stage, Karla is a multi-talented creative and athlete who enjoys everything from songwriting and painting to surfing, snowboarding, and spending time with Karla’s beloved dogs.
