Identifying as a trans and non-binary person, they are passionate about expanding representation across the gender spectrum and challenging traditional gender stereotypes within fashion, art, and self-representation.
With a background as a designer and creative working behind the camera on brand identities and graphic concepts, Lian brings strong visual awareness and creative sensitivity to every shoot. Exploring gender beyond the concepts of masculinity and femininity has always been part of Lian’s journey, and following top surgery they continue to use their presence and body as part of that dialogue.
In their free time, Lian is a painter and tattoo artist who thrives on creative expression. Their interests include contemporary art, fashion as a space for gender representation, cinema, and maintaining balance through movement, especially yoga. They are interested in different cultures and therefore enjoy travelling the world. They are especially drawn to places shaped by surf and skate culture, where they feel a natural sense of connection.
