Bexta is lesbian model for clothes and hair and public speaker who was diagnosed with Autism as an adult aged 36. She has been interviewed by a radio station that focusses on disability on three occasions taking about her art work in the SALA exhibition, gold medals won at the national transplant games and starting a modelling career.
Bexta won a modelling award in Sydney Australia as voted by the other models. She also modelled for a well-known barber at a convention at the Gold Coast Australia.
Bexta had a 5-minute documentary “Unbreakable Stride” made For Focus on Ability and this was voted as the winner by the sponsors, Disability Employment and Disability Inclusion. Unbreakable Stride also won “Most Inspiring Story” at the South Australian Short Film Festival.
Bexta has been involved with Mingle Co which is a support group for neurodivergent women in business. She has done 2 podcasts with Mingle Co.
She is an advocate for disability inclusion for her local council in South Australia.
She has a love for her family and friends and is passionate about being a spokesperson and advocate for people with a disability.
Her interests are fashion, modelling, sport and public speaking and doing podcasts and interviews about autism and ADHD, eating disorders and mental health.
Bexta is keen to travel and see the world and has a great deal to offer about inclusive practices for people with a disability and in particular the invisible disability Autism.
