Alejandra is a model based in Melbourne with retinitis pigmentosa – a genetic condition which leads to retinal degeneration and therefore visual impairment. She is pursuing a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy and is passionate about reducing stereotypes of blindness through blog writing and social media content. She formed part of different acting programs through primary and high school and played various roles in musical productions. She has participated in many sports including swimming, running and gymnastics or going to the gym. Most recently she is endeavouring to compete in a spartan race – a 5Km rase obstacle course. She also loves trying new make-up looks and incorporating glitter into both fashion and makeup.
