Leni is a 15-year-old girl that has a disability called Cerebral Palsy. It affects her right-side, particularly in her right arm. She has never let her disability stop her from trying new things and enjoying life. She loves spending time with family and friends. Loves reading, listening to music, swimming and staying active, driving her off-road buggy in the backyard and helps look after her dog, cat and pet ducks. She loves school and works hard in every subject. Her favourite being English, Art and Health.
Her favourite thing though is spending time with people. She loves family catch ups and talking to friends or spending time with them on sleepovers.
Because she is such a people person, Leni is hoping to have a future career where she can help other children with disabilities and their parents. She always has a positive outlook, even after everything she has had to overcome. She is kind and sweet to everyone she meets and always wants to bring the best out of people. Leni is determined to make a difference and be a role model for children with disabilities. She wants to show that you can do anything you set your mind to, sometimes you just have to find a different way.
