Marcus is a bright, quiet 12-year-old boy who was diagnosed with a brain tumor when he was 5. He is a survivor who has endured surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and inhibitors over the last 7 years. He is a full-time wheelchair user; he can transfer and stand but is unable to walk unassisted. He wears a left foot AFO, and he still has a portacath in his chest. He is extremely academic (competing in math tournaments) and is trying various wheelchair sports. He loves baking and cooking, even though he has limited use of his left arm and hand.
