Ashana is a beautiful young girl that is 1 of 700 in the world with an extremely rare genetic condition called STXBP1. Ashana constantly happy and manages to light up every room she enters with her big cheesy smile. Ashana is non verbal however, communicates deeply with her eyes and has great cognitive understanding. Ashana cannot walk (yet) however, uses a walker aid to assist her in moving about and has learnt to stand for seconds at a time with parental help. Ashana has recently started to learn to crawl and is learning to say words such as ‘mum’ and ‘more’. Ashana is a no fuss child that doesn’t whinge or cry, she has a cheeky delightful personality and will always greet you with a big smile.
