Tallen Gabriel (they/he) is a trans-masculine non-binary artist based in Brooklyn, who frequently travels to Paris and LA. A classically trained cellist, Tallen now has a career as a musician and bandleader of the folk-rock project Captain Tallen & the Benevolent Entities, and he works as an on-the-spot typewriter poet, typing custom poems for guests at functions such as galas, film premiers, and weddings.

A few of Tallen's poems have reach viral acclaim on TikTok, where they share their art, fit checks, and snippets of life as a trans and queer person in Brooklyn and beyond. Tallen is also the author of a young adult novel currently on submission through his literary agent, and it is a dream of theirs to help adolescent queer readers feel seen and at home in their skin through their writing. As a model and public figure, Tallen hopes to inspire other gender-nonconforming folks to feel wonderful existing exactly as they are. Tallen is conversational in French via their mother and visits Paris often.

Tallen studied acting at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts before prioritizing music and writing. They are very comfortable in front of a camera and performing onstage. Tallen is also a passionate rock climber, both in the gym and in nature
