Lydia (she/her) is an admirable toddler with a brave story.
She fell ill with bacterial meningitis in early infancy and narrowly survived the 1-in-4 odds stacked against her. She has been on a mission to restore as much of her future as possible ever since. Lydia is diagnosed with spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy amongst a few lesser diagnoses.
Her courageousness has been featured numerous times via media outlets such as Newsweek and The Times. She has developed a significant following of digital aunties that are increasingly cheering on her journey by the day.
Lydia’s greatest accomplishment thus far has been raising over $100,000 towards early intervention efforts for cerebral palsy. She is paving the way in what should be the standard of care for kids that need a little bit more help.
When not chasing down emerging medical treatments, she enjoys traveling with her parents, visiting botanical gardens (plant green is her favorite color!), up-close animal encounters, pop girlie music, excessive compliments, and lots of snuggles.
