Brogan Paul is looking forward to starting High School fully included at Santa Fe Catholic. She loves hanging out with her friends, dancing, cheerleading, cooking and drawing. She works at Publix grocery store and hopes to get her driver’s license. Brogan was born with Down syndrome (trisomy 21); a cardiologist referral confirmed ASD, VSD and PDA requiring open heart surgery at 8 months.
Some might take one look at Brogan and assume they know everything they need to know-her future is limited by a genetic disorder. Every day she proves them wrong, accomplishing things that were once considered impossible for kids with Down syndrome. Brogan just takes it in strides; she is fearless and believes in herself 100%.
Brogan is proof that a diagnosis can’t hold you back when you are chasing your dreams. She took her first steps at 27 months and her 1st ballet class at 3. She has been dancing ever since, landing editorial shoots and advertising campaigns, earning roles in theatre and film. She took her first walk on the runway in 2015 for GAP Kids with changing the face of beauty and has gone on to slay runways in Miami and New York, earning international media coverage.
