Julie lives with tremor‑dominant Parkinson’s and hypermobility syndrome, challenges that have reshaped parts of her life. She once loved paddleboarding, sea swimming and surfing, but has since had to step back from those activities.

Creatively, she has always found joy in storytelling. She previously wrote a column for an Exeter magazine inspired by her Instagram photography, capturing the journey of a city girl adjusting to countryside life with young children.
