Lea Bevan (they/she) is an actor, comedian, model, musician and writer, based in Oxford and Brighton. They are currently studying English Literature and Language at Keble College Oxford, specialising in early medieval English linguistics.
From 2016, Lea was represented by Daisy and Duke’s as a film actor and background artist, but left their register in 2023 to focus on theatre. At college, Lea was involved in 12 productions, earning two college awards for lead roles in Death of a Salesman and James Graham’s INK. Lea studied theatre at GCSE and A Level, and was awarded a 9(A*) and A* respectively.
As a comedian, Lea has been performing around Oxford, Brighton, London and the Edinburgh Fringe since 2023. Lea was cast in the renowned Oxford Revue in 2023, and in 2024 was selected as MC of Oxford’s alternative comedy night, Stand-Upping Citizens, both in Oxford and into the 2025 Edinburgh Fringe. The same year, Lea reached the semi-finals of the Chortle Student Comedy Awards.
As a musician, Lea is currently releasing music as the lead singer, songwriter and keyboardist of Keates Dyad, gathering over 5k streams for their first album, and 100k views on Tiktok @keatesdyad. Lea has also been releasing electronic music as a solo artist under the name vßane since 2022, and running the acclaimed OU Jazz Society since 2024.
As a writer, Lea has been publishing plays and poetry under the name N.F. K since 2021, and in 2023 N.F. K was shortlisted for the Oxford New Writing awards. In 2023 Lea founded Content Aesthetic Theatre Company to produce original theatre in Oxford. Since 2021, Lea has written 10 plays, published 7, and produced 4 for the stage. Lea has also been working with the Oxford Review of Books, since being selected for their executive poetry team in 2024.
