Tatum Swithenbank (they/them) is a queer working-class model, actor-performer, presenter, and speaker. They’re an ambulatory wheelchair user living with Muscular Dystrophy, and use a variety of mobility aids, including canes and splints. Tatum is non-binary and enjoys portraying any gender expressions in their work.
Tatum has performed in theatre shows with CRIPtic Arts, Camden People’s Theatre, and the Roundhouse and has featured as talent in a wide range of campaigns, including Lucy and Yak, Durex, Culture Trip, and Freeda. Tatum’s DEI work spans across corporate, creative, and non-profit sectors. Some of these clients include Kew Gardens, Doc Martens, and Guardian Fashion.
Tatum has produced engaging narratives for BBC Radio 4, Audible, and BBC Sounds, including the award-winning series WITCH. Tatum’s ongoing project, Honey and the Hex, explores the origins, traditions, and intersections of folklore and where they lie today. They are passionate about community, culture, and accessibility.
