Philip J was born with a lower limb difference (left hand) and has lived experience of mental health issues.
He began modelling in 2025 in order to contribute to the improving visibility and representation of queer, disabled and older people, something that was no-existant when he was growing up. So far, he has worked with Shame Studios, V&A and Pinterest.
Philip worked in the arts and with disability and LGBTQI+ charities for over thirty years, before owning and running award-winning restaurants.
He now works as an artist and influencer, making ceramics and embroideries that address his lived experience as a disabled queer man.
He enjoys theatre, gardening, food, leather, jazz, queer history, visual arts, haberdashery and Murder She Wrote.
