Maurice is thirteen years old and lives in central London. He is passionate about
swimming and table tennis and is a member of two swimming clubs, most notably,
London Disability Swimming Club. In July 2022 he took part in the WheelPower National
Junior Games and was awarded the prestigious Andy Wallace Prize for achievement in
Swimming, Fencing and Table tennis.
In addition, Maurice loves Music. He is a talented classical pianist and is currently working
towards his grade 8 piano. He regularly performs at school as a soloist and also enjoys
singing in the choir and playing in the school orchestra.
Maurice doesn’t let his disability get in the way of enjoying life. In his spare time he
enjoys watching rugby and football, exploring the countryside and all things to do with
food!
