Amelie has Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia, a rare form of motor neurone disorder. Amelie
has weak lower body muscles and struggles to balance well or walk unaided, currently.
She has recently had a major spinal surgery which we are hoping will help and we are
currently working on building strength and independence. She is also developmentally
behind for her age but is an extremely friendly, positive, cooperative and determined little girl.
