Nicolò is a young paraplegic who in September 2024 underwent an experimental procedure open to only 10 candidates worldwide. He became the seventh of them. Thanks to this special procedure, Nicolò has now recovered many of his functions, such as standing, walking, and even climbing stairs.
Following this procedure, Nicolò appeared on several RAI TV shows, national newspapers and worldwide medical journal to share his experience and how it changed his life.
In May 2025, he collaborated with the Wings For Life World Run as a spokesperson.
His goal is to make this experimental procedure available to all people with spinal cord injuries so that everyone can benefit from it. He also wants to help represent more diversity and inclusion in the media.
He loves cooking and exploring the world.
