Valentin lost his eye at just two years old due to a severe accident that left him in an induced coma and required 17 surgeries to remove 40 shards of glass. While the physical trauma healed, the emotional scars came later;  not from the accident, but from years of bullying. Labeled a “monster” by other children, Valentin struggled with insecurity and tried to hide his difference behind a cosmetic lens that caused him pain. Over time, he stopped hiding. He learned to accept his story, his scars, and his strength. Today, Valentin sees his difference not as a flaw but as a symbol of resilience and individuality. He is passionate about encouraging others to embrace what sets them apart, because uniqueness is not something to fix; it’s something to celebrate. Valentin stands as a proud example that our challenges don’t define us, how we rise from them does.
